Facility management

Remote software for water readings and electrical readings, asset control, access control, waterproofing, and the general care of the facility.

On this work

  • A water meter with a small remote sensor on the pipe.

    Water reading remote software

The water meter is read remotely, so a leak or a spike shows up without a walk to the box every week.

  • An electrical meter in a wall box with a remote reader beside it.

    Electrical reading remote software

The electrical meter is read remotely, and the readings sit with the rest of the facility record.

  • Asset control

Plant, meters, and the kit on the property are listed, so a visit starts from a known set of assets.

  • Access control

Gates, readers, and who can come through, held with the rest of the facility rather than as a separate afterthought.

  • A flat roof with a fresh waterproof coating.

    Waterproofing

Roofs, slabs, and the joints that let water in, scoped before a coat is rolled on.

  • General facility care

The rest of the building: common areas, plant rooms, and the faults that show up between the meter readings.

What is included

  • Water reading remote software
  • Electrical reading remote software
  • Asset control
  • Access control
  • Waterproofing
  • General facility care

The kind of job

  • A small complex that needs the same person to notice the gutter, the gate, and the geyser cupboard
  • A commercial space where faults are piling up between tenants
  • An owner with more than one property who wants the upkeep written down

How this work is held

Facility management here is a planned list, not a call centre. Urgent faults are still quoted before work starts. If a visit finds something outside the schedule, it is written up and left until that scope is agreed.

How a job proceeds

  1. 01

    Enquire

The quote form is the brief. Name the property and what needs doing. A sentence or two is enough to start.

  2. 02

    Agree

We reply with what is included, what is not, and the order of the work. That agreement is the green light. Nothing is opened up before it exists.

  3. 03

    Carry out

The work is done to that scope. If something hidden changes the job, it is raised before it is done, and the scope is updated.

Say which rooms are involved and whether the property is occupied. The reply is a scope, not a guess.
